The "Digong Super Meal" is essentially monggo soup, a cup of rice, adobo, maruya, and buko juice.

When you become the President of the Philippines, things become a bit complicated each time you eat outside the Malacanang Palace or your home.

In the case of President Rodrigo Duterte, food tasting is, of course, necessary.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) learned through a feed that "two weeks" before the homecoming event of San Beda Law Alumni Association, the President's "food tasters" did a series of food tasting at Club Filipino, Eisenhower Street, Greenhills, San Juan.

But his preferences are actually "simple."

According to the feed sent to PEP yesterday, July 15: "Gusto lang niya yung paborito niya at maraming mani.

"Staple din yung buko juice, Gatorade, at bottled water.

"Other than that, wala na."

Now here's what the feed referred to as the "Digong Super Meal":

1. A cup of rice

2. A bowl of monggo soup (the President's favorite)

3. Adobong sugpo (adobo is also his favorite)

4. Saging na maruya

5. Plus, lechon kawali!

His meal totaled 500 pesos.
