This Valentine season, restaurants and establishments will surely have their celebratory menus and packages at the ready.

And those who have the extra money, and want to keep away from the Valentine crowd, will not think twice spending on these dishes and drinks...even if they cost five digits.

Antonio's

This flagship restaurant by acclaimed chef Tony Boy Escalante in Tagaytay has been a crowd-favorite for special celebrations.

Its lush garden, picturesque views, and romantic ambiance make it a prime choice for anniversary dinners, romantic proposals, and intimate weddings.

Meanwhile, the top-quality food is nothing to sneeze at.

For PHP6,400, you and your date can enjoy a meal of grilled dry-aged Angus prime rib eye with two side dishes.

Pair it with a bottle of Carmenere blend red wine from the Aconcagua Valley in Chile, which costs a cool PHP18,000.

Old Manila

Head to The Peninsula Manila's 41-year-old signature restaurant for a memorable meal.

Order a bottle of Dom Perignon Rosé 2003 from Epernay (PHP40,000), which is the perfect pair for Canadian lobster thermidor (PHP3,890).

There's also heavier entrée of John Stone Irish Grass-fed Angus Tomahawk worth PHP8,690.

Hide Yamamoto

Satisfy your Japanese cuisine cravings at this restaurant in City of Dreams, Parañaque, which offers 500g of charcoal-grilled Japanese beef sirloin steak at PHP17,500.

If a bottle of wine is neither your nor your partner's fancy, down the premium Wagyu beef with a bottle of Yamazaki Suntory whisky 12 years that costs PHP31,000. You can also order per 45ml glass for PHP2,200.

Champagne Room

Found in Manila Hotel, it will be open for lunch starting on February 12, Monday through Saturday from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Its semi-buffet menu has a thoughtful selection of delectable appetizers and a soup de jour.

Passion

This Cantonese restaurant inside Maxims Hotel in Pasay City serves premium dishes worth your buck.

Start your intimate dinner with the bird's nest soup with coconut milk and rock sugar at PHP2,900 per person.

Choose from savory entrées of roasted crispy suckling pig with jelly fish (PHP9,080), braised whole abalone in premium oyster sauce (PHP3,100), or the live Tiger lobster served two ways (PHP6,200 for 500g).

Canton Road

A Chinese restaurant may seem an unlikely place to go for wine, but Shangri-La at the Fort's establishment named after an iconic luxury shopping destination in Hong Kong has an extensive wine list for patrons with a discerning palate.

Red wine connoisseurs are spoiled for choice among bottles of the Chateau Lafite Rothschild Pauillac 2011 (PHP62,950), the Chateau Latour Pauillac 1999 (PHP66,450), or the Harlan Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2011 from Napa Valley (PHP68,220).

Valkyrie

After dinner, if you and your significant other are still up for some partying, head over to this night club in Bonifacio Global City.

Aside from a table that can cost up to PHP35,000 (with a two-bottle requirement and 6 bottles of Heineken), you can spring for your choice of liquid gold: a bottle of the Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne at PHP70,000 or The Dalmore 25 years single malt Scotch whisky at PHP100,000 or the John Walker & Sons Odyssey triple malt whisky for a whopping PHP160,000 per bottle.
