Penn Badgley and Shay Mitchell, stars of Netflix's newest series YOU, were spotted earlier today, January 14, at The Peninsula Manila in Makati.
Their order of business? To try hotel's award-winning Halo-halo Harana.
Shay, a Canadian-Filipina actress who got her first international breakthrough in the series Pretty Little Liars, could not get enough of this popular Filipino dessert.
In her Instagram Stories, she introduced halo-halo to Penn and her followers.
She wrote, "This is halo-halo. It is a Filipino dessert. Basically, shaved ice with condensed milk.
"But I have never seen anything this big!"
Penn, for his part, found the experience delightful.
His Instagram Story was captioned, "With @shaymitchell Look how happyyy!
"Eating halo-halo sup Philippines"
He became popular in the country because of the series Gossip Girl.
