Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Teresita Ssen Marquez, aka Winwyn, made heads turn at the Bench Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2019 presentation last Sunday, March 31.
She opened the runway and danced while showcasing the brand's latest swimwear collection at the fashion show held in Bench Tower, Bonifacio Global City.
Asked how she is able to maintain her figure, the 26-year-old Kapuso said, "Siguro ano lang, I really just do workout."
The daughter of Joey Marquez and Alma Moreno has made eating healthy and exercising regularly part of her lifestyle, and, most importantly, she added, "And kailangan lang lagi positive yung iisipin. It helps, it helps."
For her workout, Winwyn said she changes her routine every once in a while, which actually helps her burn the calories and maintain her shape.
She explained, "I do HIIT, I do weights training. Iba-iba depende sa trainer ko 'cause I have a personal trainer si Danny Chua."
Danny Chua is a fitness expert known for HIIT or high-intensity interval training, which is characterized by intense bursts of exercises with short, active recovery periods in between.
He trains celebrities and beauty queens, including Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
She also shared an important advice to those who have been contemplating their own fitness journey.
"You're not gonna die. Even though it hurts, it's worth it.
"Hindi kayo mamamatay sa workout, so push niyo lang yung sarili niyo.
"And if you see results, mas mae-engganyo kayo."
The Kapuso actress-beauty queen emphasized the best way to start a fitness journey is to keep a positive mind.
"Siguro, kailangan ang gawin mo, pag magdyi-gym or anything, first thing first is to have a positive mindset.
"Always smile kasi doon mag-i-start, e, kasi kung hindi ka positive, ma-i-stress yung itsura mo and all."
