On Tuesday, December 3, Southeast Asian Games 2019 gold medalist Carlos Yulo officially opened a Twitter account.
To welcome his fans, the 19-year-old star athlete uploaded his photos baring his abs.
Within 17 hours, Carlo's tweet received over 2,200 replies, 10,000 retweets, and 85,000 likes.
His Twitter following grew to 90,000.
Carlos accompanied the photos with a cheeky tweet and wrote, "Wag nyo kasi akong pinipilit hehe. [emojis]
Carlos's fans tweeted their reactions upon seeing his abs-flashing photo.
Meanwhile, he asked his followers to unfollow, report, and block Twitter accounts pretending to be him.
He wrote, "Hi Twitter people, this is my official twitter account. Please report, unfollow and block dummy accounts. Continue supporting Atletang Pilipino...Maraming salamat po."
Carlos has won two gold medals for the all-around and floor exercise gymnastics events at SEA Games 2019.
He also bagged two silver medals for his performances on the pommel horse and still rings events.
After the SEA Games 2019, Carlos will represent the Philippines at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
