Korina Sanchez is using the quarantine period to trim down her weight, and she is doing it one pound at a time.
The ABS-CBN veteran journalist weighed 121 lbs. before the lockdown, which took effect on March 15.
How is she doing it?
The Rated K host writes in one of her Instagram posts, "By the end of lockdown I should be 110 lbs, my fighting weight.
"Run, weights, swim, diet, kids, sleep, REPEAT. Kaya natin toh."
Her fitness regimen seems to be working out well for the mother of two.
So far, her weight has come down to 113 lbs. after thress weeks of being quarantined.
SAFE SWIMMING
Part of Korina's weight-loss program is taking "10 dives daily. No dive board, thank you."
But is swimming safe during COVID-19?
A report by U.S. federal agency Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says "there is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs."
They advise to observe "proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection" to remove "virus that causes COVID-19."
For her diet, Korina says she does "no carbs or sugar the whole days. She simple eats "lots of vegetables."
