It seems the New Year has brought a new health issue to Sharon Cuneta.
Sharon expressed on Instagram dated January 27, 2024 her distraught over her current physical condition.
Apart from catching an unidentified virus, she is also suffering from bad congestion and uncontrollable cough.
At the moment, she is scheduled for another MRI scan at the soonest possible time.

COMPLICATIONS
Sharon shared on IG that her earlier MRI-results from years ago showed a torn ligament on her right knee and a pinched nerve on her lower back.
She wanted to know why her pinched nerve has "travelled" to the right side of her body "and/or if I have any new injuries and such."
She has been limping since her trip to Seoul from January 2-10 for her birthday "and it’s just gotten worse so am scared."
Sharon also revealed, "I have scoliosis too which two hospitals saw when I had my lungs X-rayed."
APPEAL FOR PRAYERS
The actress dubbed as Megastar also wrote about the thrills of her 46-year career in showbiz, including instances when she'd brush off injuries for the love of acting.
Sharon recalled (published as is), "I have been thinking of all the times I fell off a horse since I was younger before I made movies or during filming.
"Siempre pag bata ka, di mo pa nararamdaman tapos sisingilin ka pag tumatanda ka na.
"Haaay…Di ko na-experience ang end ng childhood ko at puberty phase ko kagaya ng mga normal na tao, kasi naging singer at artista na ako at pumapasok pa sa school.
"I kind of missed out on that all-important phase of my life but I loved my work so much!
"Living vicariously through my children and by keeping my childlike attitude—from my faith in God to enjoying my "little girl/teenager" self now that I’m much older keep me young!
"'Never gonna grow up!' Ayoko! I’ll always be a little girl inside.
"Kaya huhuhu gusto ko makipag-break sa katawan kong may mga aches and pains kasi nireremind ako lagi na 58 na ako! Haaaayy…"
Her plea, "May I ask for your prayers please? Please, if you can pray for me? I pray that the MRI results won’t be too scary.
"And that this virus I caught anuman siya goes away na. I miss and love you all. Just resting a bit more.
"Please take care and thank you for all your loving messages always. I appreciate you all so much and think of you, my IG family.
"Go Sharmy! God bless you all. I love you!"
