Amid the 55-year-old balladeer's ongoing health battle, she surprises the esteemed music event with her presence, marking her first public appearance in several months.

Taking to the stage to present one of the four major awards of the night, Album of the Year, Celine begins with a heartfelt speech to thank attendees and viewers.
After the crowd's huge standing ovation and resounding round of applause, she tells them, "I love you right back.
"When I say that I'm happy to be here, I really mean it from my heart."
She continues: "Those who have been blessed enough to be here, The Grammy Awards, must never take for granted the tremendous love and joy that music brings to our lives and to people all around the world."
Shortly after, Celine announces that pop singer Taylor Swift won the said accolade, setting a Grammy record for first artist to win Album of the Year 4 times.

HEALTH BATTLE
Celine's Grammys attendance comes just over one year after canceling her Courage World Tour due to Stiff Person Syndromee (SPS)—a rare autoimmune neurological disorder that can cause painful muscle spasms and stiffness.
To shed more light to the matter, the Queen of Power Ballads is set to provide fans with a deeply personal insight into her health struggles through her upcoming documentary, I Am: Celine Dion.
"This last couple of years has been such a challenge for me," the five-Grammy award recipient revealed in a preview of the documentary last month.
"The journey from discovering my condition to learning how to live with and manage it, but not to let it define me.
"As the road to resuming my performing career continues, I have realized how much I have missed it, being able to see my fans.
"During this absence, I decided I wanted to document this part of my life, to try to raise awareness of this little-known condition, to help others who share this diagnosis."
