Isang kumpanya ang may kakaibang pakulo sa mga empleyado nito: required ang lahat na mag-Zumba o mag-exercise at least 30 minutes every work day.

Kuwento ni Chaye Cabal-Revilla, president ng health and wellness app na mWell, "For us who are not into sports, no time to go to the gym, etc., we decided to bring exercise/Zumba at work, where we do Zumba in our work areas without changing.

"So no downtime—we work, dance, and go back to work again."

Dugtong ni Chaye, "Doing Zumba started when we introduced our mWellness score two years ago, which encouraged us all to do at least 30 minutes exercise.

"Exercise is part of the scoring determination. There are also some tips on how to improve the score which includes at least 30 minutes of exercise.

"Part of our engagement is to do challenges with a leadership board where the top scorers are incentivized, which means we are given incentives for being healthy."

Ani Chaye, "The concept of exercising, being physically healthy and engaging in sports was really inspired by MVP.

"He plays badminton three times a week. Look at how healthy he is mentally and physically, considering all he work he does across his group of companies."

MORE ABOUT THE HEALTH APP

Paliwanag ni Chaye, "The campaign Kalusugan Ay Puhunan is something we want Filpinos to watch and appreciate because it's true, right?

"Sometimes kasi, we take for granted our health. Most Filipinos, hindi iniinda ang kalusugan hangga't walang nararamdaman. Pag ganun kasi medyo late na yun, e.

"Ang goal kasi natin is for everybody to know preventive health and preventive cure."

Puwede ring magamit ang app for consultations.

"Actually, if you have mWell app now, you can do consultations within 24/7, it's like digital ER [emergency room]. You can talk to any doctor 24/7 wherever you are.

"Because the platform is open, so globally puwede siyang magamit or kahit nagbabakasyon ang mga doctors, puwede silang mag-service or mag-care sa kanilang mga patients wherever they are."

Lahad niya, "Honored, but it's not me. The reason why I got to do many things is because of God's grace. When you do God's purpose, it's not about us.

"Hindi siya nakakapagod, yun ang sinasabi ko sa anak ko. If you start thinking about other people instead of yourself, you're more joyful, di ka na-i-stress.
