She recalls going through 12 hours without an epidural — a form of pain relief commonly used during childbirth.

It involves the administration of medication into the epidural space of the spine, effectively numbing the lower body and reducing pain during labor.

Following this period, she dedicated "3 hours of pushing. Then ended up having episiotomy and forceps."

An episiotomy is a type of surgical incision, performed when the vaginal opening needs to be widened to allow for a smoother delivery, especially in cases where there is risk of tearing or if the baby needs to be delivered quickly.

After the challenging birthing process, Maja and her husband Rambo were overjoyed to finally meet their daughter Maria.

"2 contractions and 7 pushes later, we finally welcomed our baby Maria," she details.

After a brief first touch with baby Maria, it was confirmed that Maja just had a uterine inversion.

The Dance Floor Princess relates: "Immediately had 10 minutes of skin-to-skin contact with her, but biglang nagka emergency... I had uterine inversion.

"Kaya kinailangan nilang kunin sakin si Maria at binigay nila kay Rambo who was seated helplessly next to my bed."

Uterine inversion is a rare condition where the uterus turns inside out, and can occur during childbirth or immediately afterward.

It requires prompt medical attention to prevent complications such as excessive bleeding and shock.

She explains: "3 OB GYN were there trying to put back my uterus manually which led to blood loss of 3 to 4 liters.

"Then my blood pressure went down to 60/40, sinabihan na lang ako ng Doula ko na anytime I would have to go to the operating room for surgery."

Leaving it all to a higher power, Maja recounts: "That time sabi ko nalang sa sarili ko na I can’t do anything anymore... ubos na ubos na lakas ko...

"I started praying Hail Mary... paulit ulit kahit wala na akong lakas.

"And miraculously, after their last attempt, one of the OB GYN succeeded in repositioning my uterus. AMEN!!!!"
