Beauty influencer Dana Decena on advocating natural medicine: "Naniniwala kami na kung kaya munang i-approach nang natural, why not? Kesa synthetic agad.

Kesa synthetic agad.

“So, anong lifestyle changes po yung puwedeng gawin?

FROM ACUPUNCTURE TO COLON CLEANSING

“So, bale ang pinaka-common po talaga diyan is yung acupuncture.

“So, iyon po yung pinaka-common.

“So iyon, medyo malalabas mo talaga yung mga toxins sa katawan and then you feel renewed after.

"IT'S NOT FOR EVERYONE"

Taong 2022 nagsimula ang Belleza Institute.

Lahad ni Dana, “Bale aesthetic medicine po kami dito, we concentrate on mga pampa-beauty, non-surgical yung approach, but also at the same time we offer yung naturopathic din na mga treatments.

“Because nga po holistic yung approach namin, more on we offer advice on lifestyle changes. We also can recommend mga supplements na over-the-counter.

“So, talagang it’s about healing of the entire person.”

“It’s really not for everyone po,” pakli niya.

“Siyempre meron naman talagang mga sakit or merong mga karamdaman na talagang kailangan mo na for that is doktor talaga.

“But for the people na kailangan lang nila ng guidance on how to stay healthy or, 'Meron akong mga nararamdaman but paano ko ba ito maa-address in a way na hindi pa kasi ako ready mag-synthetic, ayoko naman din ng approach na aggressive agad or…' ang naturopathic po kasi naimbento para sa mga taong hindi afford magpagamot.

“So for now, yung mga ginagawa din po namin is we go to barangays and then we just give them advice na bawas-bawasan ang bisyo, dapat by 11 P.M. dapat tulog na para yung cells mo nagre-regenerate, drink eight glasses of water a day, that’s the minimum.

“So, talagang it’s also a form of education kung ano po ba yung healthy lifestyle for everyone.

“Ang dali naman isipin na ang dali namang i-Google, pero at the same time not everyone has access to the internet.

“So, really, we focus on giving advice and it’s up to the person naman kung gusto nilang i-apply sa sarili nila,” sabi pa ni Dana.
