Kris Aquino announced on Instagram on Sunday, August 24, 2025, that she has been discharged from the hospital, sharing a photo of her chest with a port-a-cath and a bandage spelling out the word "LOVE."
The former actress and TV host thanked her doctors and the medical staff who looked after her during her recent hospital stay.
Kris also expressed gratitude to her supporters who prayed for her recovery.
"Thank you for caring enough about me, my sons, and the improvement of my health to keep us in your prayers," wrote Kris.
"In one of my recent Bible devotional reading, your actions are called UNMERITED GRACE. Thank you."

KRIS'S LATEST HEALTH CHALLENGE
Recently, Kris shared that she's now in a more intense phase of her medical treatment to address multiple autoimmune diseases.
One of the surgical procedures she went through was the implantation of a port-a-cath on August 20.
In medical terms, a port-a-cath provides easier access to veins to allow medicines and antibiotics to enter a patient's body.
An emotional Kris recalled her late mother, former President Cory Aquino, going through the same procedure while battling colon cancer: “Happy tears are flowing because I’m remembering how much our mom endured for us."
Kris confided that her doctor saw something alarming in her blood test results, leading to more tests and them recommending surgical procedures.

"It's very difficult to be as brave as my dad & my mom because i know this is just the beginning of more aggressive treatment to keep me alive and get me to a point of remission," penned Kris on her Instagram post.
"My doctors have the next 6 months while i'm in isolation, to figure out the best treatment plan for someone with as many allergies to medicine, food and the environment."
She introduced the hashtag #labankris as her new battle cry, saying it serves as a reminder of how much she owes those who continue to pray for her.
