Sparkle GMA Artist Center talent Josh Ford shared an encouraging health update after undergoing multiple medical procedures.
On Saturday, June 6, 2026, the 21-year-old actor and former Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition housemate revealed that he recently completed five surgeries and is now recovering.
Sharing a post-operation photo, he wrote in the caption: "Finally nangyari na [emoji] septoplasty, uncinectomy, polypectomy, left turbinectomy, and left myringoplasty done. Thank You Lord for a successful surgery. Praying for a smooth recovery and better days ahead. [emoji]"
The procedures listed—septoplasty, uncinectomy, polypectomy, turbinectomy, and myringoplasty—are all surgeries performed within the field of ear, nose, and throat (ENT) medicine, targeting the nasal cavity, sinuses, and ear.
According to Mayo Clinic, septoplasty is a type of nose surgery that straightens the wall of bone and cartilage that divides the space between the two nostrils, also called the septum.
As per Cleveland Clinic, an uncinectomy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that removes the uncinate process, a small bone inside the nasal cavity that can block sinus drainage.
Meanwhile, polypectomy involves removing polyps—abnormal tissue growths that can be benign, precancerous, or cancerous.
Josh also underwent a left turbinectomy, a surgical procedure to reduce or remove enlarged nasal turbinates, which are the small bony structures inside the nose that help warm and humidify the air.
Lastly, myringoplasty is a procedure that repairs a hole or perforation in the eardrum.
Following his update, fans and supporters flooded the comments section with messages of encouragement and prayers for his recovery.
One Facebook user wrote: "You are so brave Josh, ang tagal mo din to inantay. Naalala ko ung usapan nyo ni Ms. Gabbi grabe ung iyak ko sau.
"Dahil mabait kng anak and love mo si mama mo pinagpapala ka at napaopera mo na self mo. Praying for your fast recovery.

Extending his gratitude, Josh responded: "Thank you everyone for all the love and support. Sobrang thankful ako sa inyong lahat. Salamat sa mga dasal at pag-check up sa akin. Gagaling din ako soon. [emojis]"
JOSH FORD'S CONDITION
Josh previously revealed that he has a perforated eardrum following the tragic car accident in 2023 that claimed the life of fellow actor and Sparkle artist Andrei Sison and two others.
As for his nasal condition, it remains unclear when it began, as he has not detailed it in past interviews, but it may have existed even before the accident and later became more complicated.
At the sidelines of the GMA Gala 2025, Josh opened up to GMA News about the surgery he needed for his left ear.
"I'm still trying to save up for the surgery and if I have time sana magawa ko na rin," he shared.
"Kasi it takes a while for it to heal. Mahaba yung recovery period niya.
"Hopefully soon, magawa ko na. Blessings for more income, more money para lang magawa ko na," he added.
Josh earlier opened up about his condition to house guest Gabbi Garcia during his PBB stint, revealing that he has two holes in his eardrum and has been gradually losing hearing in his left ear.
Although doctors initially believed it could heal on its own, a follow-up checkup later confirmed that surgery would be necessary. To protect his ear in the meantime, he wears an earpiece when showering or swimming.
The Filipino-British actor also previously said he did not want to burden his mother with the cost of the procedure.
