Anne Curtis to run 42K in New York City

Anne Curtis will join the TCS New York City Marathon, which will take place on November 6, 2016.

Anne Curtis’s fitness goal is to finish a full marathon.

And this, she will achieve soon as she will be joining the 2016 TCS New York City Marathon.

In an Instagram post, Anne proudly announced that she was selected to join the annual 42.195 km or 26.2 mile run, which courses through the five boroughs of New York City from Staten Island to Manhattan.

Her caption read: “OH WOOOOOOW! I'm in!!! Checked my email today and saw that I was selected to run the 2016 @nycmarathon

“I ran my very first half marathon last year at the #HeroesForChildrenRun I organized for the benefit of @unicefphils and after conquering that I told myself my next goal is to finish my very first marathon.”

According to Anne, it was her It’s Showtime co-host Kim Atienza who encouraged her to join the draw for the largest and most popular marathon in the world.

She wrote, “@kuyakim_atienza told me my first should be memorable and the New York City Marathon should definitely be it!

“So he told me to take a chance and join the draw to see if I could get in AND I DID!!!

“Thanks for giving me that push Kuya Kim! I can't believe it!

“Excited to start training again! The road to the #tcsnycmarathon 2016 begins!”

The 2016 TCS NYC Marathon is slated for November 6, 2016.

Anne will participate with Kuya Kim, who’s joining the marathon for the second time.
