Matteo Guidicelli said triathlon has made him become more conscious about his health, "It's a great sport, it's a great lifestyle. You just have to understand your body more."

Matteo Guidicelli has not really trained for the upcoming Cobra Ironman 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championships in Cebu on August 7.

The Dolce Amore star told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Konti-konti lang, pasingit-singit lang,” referring to the irregular schedule of his training due to his showbiz commitments.

Although his role in the ABS-CBN's primetime show had recently made his exit, Matteo still has a series of shows abroad.

Nonetheless, the actor-triathlete does not want to miss the biggest triathlon event, so he will still join the competition even without proper training.

“My goal for this race is just to finish the race. No beating of personal time or anything.

I'm just gonna enjoy the race, suffer with everybody, but not to beat anything because I've been having a hectic schedule in teleserye. So i-e-enjoy ko lang ang buong karera.”

Other celebrities who are expected to join the Ironman 70.3 in Cebu are Piolo Pascual, Dingdong Dantes, Kim Atienza, Paul Jake Castillo, and Ivan Carapiet.

Instead of posting photos taken during parties at different clubs, Matteo shares his snaps while biking or running or swimming.
