On March 11, 2016, Brazilian-Japanese model Vanessa Matsunaga-Sunga gave birth to her daughter Isabella.
The baby recently turned five months old this month.
"It's so fast!" Vanessa told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
At the opening of Naxional Diner on August 9, Vanessa couldn't help but gush over her newfound purpose in my life.
"Motherhood is wonderful. I really love being a mother," she remarked.
"I wish I started early though. Motherhood is so awesome."
She encouraged other mothers not to easily give up on breastfeeding their baby.
"I know it’s really hard but it’s wonderful. It’s good for your babies."
When asked what's her favorite part about breastfeeding, she replied, "I’m gonna tell all the girls about this, you know, you get to eat every thing you want, more than your husband, and you don’t gain anything.
"It’s the dream of every girl, I guess. Like no diet, you just go, ‘Yeah, bring it on!’
"And everybody’s seeing you eating.
"Whenever I go to a buffet, people are like, ‘Where does it go?’ and I’m like, ‘To my milk, to my milk.’"
LOSING THE BABY WEIGHT Aside from breastfeeding, Vanessa also mentioned that the day-to-day duties of motherhood can help a new mom lose weight.
"When you take care of your baby, you’re constantly moving and you don’t sleep much.
"I think every thing contributes for you to just lose weight and be back to your sexy shape."
