While waiting or looking for the one, Regine Tolentino has a suggestion: try Zumba!
Smiling, she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an interview held recently, "Kasi, ang daming pumapayat, ang daming sumeseksi.
"Ang daming tumitindi ang relationship sa buhay.
A lot of clients, she mentioned, had also approached her to say, "Gumanda ang sex life ko dahil sa pagsu-Zumba ko.
"Kasi pumayat ako, lumakas ang resistensiya ko.
"At saka ang confident ko na ngayon, may mga moves na ko."
Regine, who has been dancing since she was a kid, said she could go on enumerating the benefits of dancing.
"Yun talaga ang nagagawa ng pagsasayaw. I’m so happy..."
At present, she is tagged as the "Dance Diva" and "Zumba Queen of the Philippines."
She has been a licensed danced instructor for 10 years, and a licensed Zumba instructor for five years.
The 36-year-old mom remarked, "I’m really proud na nare-recognize ako sa field na ito.
"I really train, I do my training, and I try to maintain the healthy lifestyle.
"I’m a licensed instructor at talagang advocacy ko sa buhay na ngayon is to inspire others to stay fit, be sexy, and be productive.”
UNTIRING. Dancing has been her life for more than 20 years now, and has brought her to places.
She remains hands-on as far as her business ventures are concerned, and visible on TV from time time. Where does she get her energy?
"Nakakapagod in a fun way, I mean, nakaka-hyper kaya kapag sumasayaw.
"I just feel like listening to the music, and I feel sexy and pretty when you’re dancing.
"Kaya yun din ang gusto kong i-share sa mga kababaihan."
Recently, she spearheaded the Z Stars Philippines Dance Fitness Awards, which hailed its first Miss Dance Fitness Philippines at Hotel Rembrandt in Tomas Morato Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City.
Regine exclaimed, “I’m very very proud to be the first to give recognition to the female dance instructors.
"It’s really exciting to see that you touch someone’s life through fitness, dancing.
"Kasi nakakalimutan nila ang problema nila, nag-iiba ang araw nila when they start to dance.
"Siyempre, happy hormones iyan, they dress up, a little bit of makeup, and they transform when they’re on the dance floor.
"Parang mga diva na rin sila when they do their exercise."
That evening, the dance instructors wore gowns and suits.
