Sarah Lahbati's comfort food will always be pasta, the pesto or cream-based kind, and dark chocolate.

Before she got pregnant three years ago, Sarah Lahbati, who stands five feet and eight inches, weighed 63 kilograms.

When she got pregnant, “I gained like 15 kilograms so mga 75 kilograms during pregnancy.

“It was a normal weight gain,” Sarah told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an interview during her pictorial for a milk brand.

Did her tummy shrink after giving birth?

“No. Parang right after pregnancy, para pa ring buntis."

But that’s normal, she assured all the pregnant women.

“I still looked pregnant because of all the water left.”

What did she do to get rid of them?

Sarah advised, "You know what, do not do anything drastic.

"That’s normal naman, e.

“You shouldn’t rush losing weight kasi you’re gonna lose the milk also.”

According to BabyCenter.com. “It will take six to eight for the uterus to return to its normal size.”

Did she breastfeed Zion?

“Yeah, for just two months lang kasi I didn’t, I don’t know, I didn’t have enough milk, e.

“So it’s important not to diet.

“I didn’t diet, but I don’t know why I didn’t have enough milk so hopefully in my next pregnancy.”

She underlined, “Pero iba-iba ha for different moms.

“But the important thing is, let your body heal.”

Besides, not eating, she said, can be a sign of postpartum blues.

“You’re gonna be down, yeah, so it’s important to eat healthy lang.

“Don’t diet too much.

“Focus on your baby.”

HOBBY. At the recent Shell Bike Fair, she was asked: Do you cook?

"I'm more of a baker, I can bake any kind of cake like banana loaf, but I also make really good truffle chocolate from my recipe from my school in Geneva using pure cacao.

“But I also like cooking once in a while.

“My only special dish is chicken curry that I learned in school in Geneva.”

But she’s pretty confident she can easily follow instructions from recipes.

“I think if I research a recipe online, feeling ko kaya ko naman, I'll just need my mom's guidance, she's the best chef."

But she’s been baking for fun.

“I don't wanna stress about orders.”
