Anne Curtis had crossed another goal off her bucket list as she completed the 42-kilometer race at the New York Marathon.
This annual event is one of the biggest and most popular marathons in the world with its race course passing through all five of New York’s borough—Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and Manhattan’s Central Park.

The It’s Showtime host dedicated her 42-kilometer run to the children of UNICEF Philippines.
On Instagram, she posted a photo of her crossing the finish line.
Anne wrote, “I did it!”
The UNICEF ambassador also thanked the Filipino fans who supported her.
“I can’t explain how fulfilling it is when you cross the finish line. It certainly isn’t easy but the whole experience is worth the physical pain.
“The spectators are there to cheer you on, give you power high-fives and push you when you feel like you want to stop.
“To all the kababayans that were out there today to cheer me on, screaming, and some even with posters, maraming salamat!
“Nakakaiyak and iyan po ang dahilan kung bakit halos hindi nawala ang ngiti ko.”
I did it! My very first marathon in NYC! What a bucket list moment ?? I can't explain how fulfilling it is when you cross the finish line. It certainly isn't easy but the whole experience is worth the physical pain. Each borough (there were 5) had a different feel, music and vibe. The spectators are there to cheer you on, give you power up high-fives and push you when you feel like you want to stop. To all the kababayans that were out there today to cheer me on... screaming and some even with posters, Maraming Salamat. ?? Nakakaiyak and yan po ang dahilan kung bakit halos hindi nawala ang ngiti ko. After my first... I would like to conquer more! 26.2 or 42.165 dedicated and inspired by the FILIPINO YOUTH and it's through God's grace, I FINISHED ?????????????????? @nycmarathon #unicefphils #NYCmarathANNEventure #ANNEventuresNYC #tcsnycmarathon #nycmarathon2016
