Matteo Guidicelli says it's okay to indulge in food this Christmas season so long as you burn the calories.
â??Siyempre, mahirap iyan kasi ang sarap ng mga pagkainâ??mga ham, lechon, kahit anong pagkain.
"But you know, just enjoy, but don't forget to exercise,â?? Matteo told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in a short chat before the Meet-and-Greet event organized by Saucony Philippines last Sunday, December 19.
The celebrity triathlete admitted he's also guilty of overeating during holiday season.
"Siyempre, I eat every thing. You know, I don't say no to anything.
"But I just make sure that I get to work out after."
Matteo advised to keep this you mantra: "Keep an active lifestyle."
He further explained, "Like I always say, kahit twenty minutes of exercise or thirty minutes of being active is very important in a day.
"That's it, that's all you need.
"Then, you can enjoy your life and you can eat all you want."
HOLIDAY PLANS. The actor-singer will be celebrating Christmas in Cebu with his family.
While in his hometown, Matteo plans to do a motorbike road trip with friends.
"Two weeks ago, I did a trip to Dumaguete with my motorbike with my friends.
"Yung plano namin this time is to go to Bohol.
"From Cebu, road trip to Bohol.â??
Is he replacing triathlon with motorcycling?
Matteo replied, "Hindi naman. Parang ano lang iyon, hobby-hobby lang kasama ang mga kaibigan ko, parang pang-relax lang.â??
Hence, 2017 will be no different. He will still join faces.
It's off season now, so wala kaming mga karera ngayon. Every thing is gonna start next year,â?? he said.
"My Team Ford Forza, we're re-launching the whole team. Marami kaming mga bagong members.
"We have the Du Brothers, who were my contestants in The Biggest Loser.
"They have an inspiring story, you know, overweight people doing triathlon.
"They're gonna do their first triathlon next year."
He concluded, â??There's a bunch of races lined up next year."
