Thanks to her religious workouts, she's able to maintain her lean and toned physique.
The actress doesn't let a week pass without spending a few hours at Focus Athletics in Pasong Tamo Extension, Makati.
Her gym gives its clients "customized evaluation and integration of training systems based on personal goals."
So if you've been following her on Instagram, you would know that her gym sessions are intense...
She says she likes "pushing myself to the limit."
Her program is focused on arms, back, abs, and butt.
And oftentimes, she posts videos of her workout session looking real pretty in gym attire and sans makeup.
In a recent trip to Taiwan, she showed that, in her late 40s, she remains a "beautiful girl" in bikini.
Those who lived through the 90s will know that Gretchen starred in a movie inspired by Jose Mari Chan's OPM hit, "Beautiful Girl."
But that's not the only reason we now want to take gym workouts more seriously and more religiously.

The celebrity mom still finds time to dine with friends, so her Instagram feed is not entirely about fitness videos but about food shots as well.
She enjoys food, eats chips from time to time, and has a sweet tooth.
In an interview with a broadsheet, Gretchen said, “I don’t deprive myself. The minute I do that, I binge. That’s why I work out so I can eat.”
3. Her motivation is admirable.
Based on her videos, Gretchen is in love with what she's doing, and is determined to do every exercise no matter how hard it is.
