Raymond Gutierrez on what inspired him to lose weight: "A big part of this whole change is the fact that all my friends are super healthy, they work out, they eat right."

Raymond Gutierrez is now midway through his 90-day fitness challenge, and his fans can already see the changes.

The 33-year-old host has never looked better based on his recent Instagram posts.

He's visibly leaner, his chubby cheeks almost gone, and his jaw line more defined.

In one of his photos, some of his Instagram followers mistook him for his twin brother, Richard Gutierrez.

What started it all? What became his wake-up call?

On YouTube, Raymond recounted, "Late last year, around November, I just woke up one day and I hated myself.

"I felt so out of shape and unhealthy, and I just told myself, 'I'm sick of being fat.'"

He added, "I forgot to take care of my health, and I got all these excuses in my head that would stop me from working out or eating healthy."

He got some inspiration from friends.

As we all know, his squad includes Anne Curtis, Solenn Heussaff, Georgina Wilson, and their respective beaus.

Raymond explained, "A big part of this whole change is the fact that all my friends are super healthy, they work out, they eat right."

The first person he called up to help him lose weight was Anne's fiance and Solenn's brother Erwan.

"I decided to call Erwan and I said, 'Look, I have a proposal for you. Help me out on this. Let's see where we can take it. Let's get people involved, let's get people excited.'

"That's how this thing came about."

It was his choice to share his fitness journey on social media and YouTube,.

He said, "...in order for me to get motivated, I felt like I had to share this with people and it had to be in a public platform.

"In order to motivate myself, I want to motivate others.

"Trust me, if I can do this, so can you guys."

To kick off his 90-day road to fitness, Raymond threw an 80s-inspired fitness party at a branch of Ride Revolution last January 22, the day after his 33rd birthday.

Since then, he took his diet plans and workout routines seriously with the help of celebrity fitness trainer Arnold Aninion and nutritionist Nadine Tengco.

He also took boxing sessions with friends.

Raymond still has a long way to go in terms of achieving his target weight.

But this is what Raymond looks like now!
