How Aubrey Miles overcomes "too tamad to work out" days

Aubrey Miles on cause of her stress? "Hindi ako naka-diet nang maganda, hindi ako nakapag-workout." 


Aubrey Miles made some slight changes in her workout routine.

From five days a week, her frequency is now down to four days.

At the Nike Training Camp's event held on February 23, she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), "Oo, our body needs to rest, e.

"Kaya now, I try four times."

From two hours of intense training, she has been spending less time on the gym and added yoga.

"I don’t go to gym almost every day. I try yoga na on weekends.

"So yung talagang routine ko is four times with yoga once a day."

By the way, her partner Troy Montero joins her sessions.

Does she ever have tamad days for workouts? Looking at her videos on Instagram, she looks highly-motivated all the time.

"Oh my god, meron," she quickly replied.

"Pero baligtad, my body says no, pero yung mind ko, go.

"Kasi I’m still in pain now kaya dapat, rest.

"Pero sa utak ko, 'workout!'"

It is important to make workouts "a part of your lifestyle, a habit."

Aubrey resumed, "Kasi kapag nasimulan mo na, nakasanayan mo na, parang kulang din ang araw mo pag di ka nagpunta sa gym.

"Hahanapin ng katawan mo.

"So do not break it. Move."

Does she watch her diet?

"Wala, I eat normal. If my helper cooks sinigang, I’ll eat sinigang with brown rice.

"Wala akong bawal.

"Napansin ko kasi na nung nag-strict diet ako, after, parang pangit yung hitsura.

"But if there’s a need for me to do it, like there is a shoot, that’s when I do strict diet.

"But I do not starve myself."

On Instagram, she posted a video of her eating Basmati rice with ground beef and lamb kebab combo.

She remarked, "It's like a party in my mouth. This is not a cheat day. I eat normal food. I believe in realistic healthy diet.

Aside from being able to eat what she wants, a gym session is her outlet.

"Kapag stress talaga, I’ll make sure, I’ll plan it, and I’ll go to the gym. I eat good.

"Usually nakaka-stress sa akin, hindi ako naka-diet nang maganda, hindi ako nakapag-work out.

"Yung problem sa family, wala, e. Normal na sa akin iyan."

Lastly, get enough sleep.

"I need at least six, pero I like seven to eight.

"Yun yung sinasabi ng iba, parang 'you’re so young, you look so fresh.'"

But her only beauty secret: "sleep."

Besides, "Okay ang body mo sa workout pag nakatulog ka."
