As soon as Liza Soberano announced that she's going to play much-coveted role Darna, the Kapamilya actress started training to get in shape.
Aside from having to look sexy for the red costume, she has to be ready for the stunts.
With the help of fitness coach Bok Santos of Platinum Executive Fitness, the man behind Erich Gonzales and Kathryn Bernardo's more toned bods, Liza immediately hit the gym to achieve her "goal."

She said, "You have to look strong...you have to make it look believable."
Unlike the other celebrity clients of Coach Bok who who had to build muscles fit for their built, Liza's workout, especially during the first stage of her training, is focused on losing weight.
And thanks to her fitness buddy Enrique Gil, Liza's challenging workouts have been bearable.
If he does not have any work commitment, he often accompanies the 19-year-old star.
Also part of her workout is to "run every single day."
Add to these, she has been taking dance classes for "grace and timing."
In an interview with Liza at the trade launch of Megapro Plus at Luxent Hotel on June 15, she added, "And, siyempre, for personal ko na rin 'yun para I can dance better sa ASAP."
Asked what could probably be the toughest challenge in portraying the role, the Star Magic artist told the press, "Yung magiging difficult sa 'kin yung timing pagdating sa stunts.
"Kasi yun talaga, you have to look strong, but not be too strong because you don't wanna hurt the person you're doing a scene with when doing stunts.
"I'm not actually going to hurt them."
As much as possible, she wants to do all the stunts "para mas madali rin sa director and cameraman."
But "if it becomes too life-threatening, of course, I'm going to have someone do that for me.
"I don't want risk my life naman."
