It also has a significant amount of potassium, phosphorous, iodine, zinc, and Vitamins B5 and B12, "which maintains the red blood cells and helps keep your nervous system function properly."

According to fitnessmagazine.com, eating 18 ounces of yogurt a day can help one "drop a jean's size."

If you are also working out, the article mentioned that the "perfect" time to have this snack is within 60 minutes of exercise.

Why? Because "the protein provides the amino acids your muscles need to repair themselves, and the carbohydrates replace your muscles' energy stores, which are depleted after a hard workout."

Plus it speeds up hydration when you follow it with a bottle of water.
