Kapuso actress Thea Tolentino is now recuperating from her breast surgery last May 23.
Six cysts were removed.
“Okay naman po, hinihintay ko na lang siya mag-heal,” said the actress on Tunay na Buhay of GMA News and Public Affairs which aired last Wednesday, June 13.
The 21-year-old Kapuso actress said about the cysts: “Sa ultrasound nakalagay limang solid, yung laman lang talaga, and isang cyst yung may water yata.”
During the surgery, she was fully conscious.
This was the second time she had a cyst removed. Her first surgery was in 2010. All cysts were benign.
Her family, particularly her dad's side, has a history of breast cancer, so Thea has been extra cautious.
Thea is excited to go back to work.
Her most recent projects were the teleseryes Haplos (2017-2018), Ika-6 Na Utos, and Destined To Be Yours, which both aired in 2017.
