Ina Feleo had just finished a 20-day fitness challenge, and the results are definitely worth every drop of her sweat.
The GMA-7 actress related her latest fitness journey on Instagram earlier today, October 14.
Based on her before and after photos, the muscular definition in her abdominal area is definitely more pronounced, even after only three weeks.
Ina said she did the high-intensity interval training (HIIT) with the help of fitness trainer Dandy Chua.
HIIT is a training technique which uses quick, intense bursts of exercise with short, active recovery periods in between. This type of technique keeps the heart rate up and burns more fat.
She wrote, "Before you comment which one you prefer, pls don’t....
"Took on the challenge of 20 days HIIT training and clean eating because 20 days is honestly not too long and I love challenges.
"I wanted to see how much I could push myself and what results I might see if I REALLY ate clean and up the intensity of my workouts."
A typical HIIT routine could be challenging, but Ina said she enjoyed every moment of it.
She continued, "This was easier than I expected because 1) i loooved the workouts and how i felt after sweating so much, plus the workouts were really short so it was easy to squeeze in my schedule 2) the clean eating part was also not difficult because i still had rice/pasta/bread, and when I had cravings for sweets i would just eat unlimited fruits..."
Ina noted that having an active lifestyle even before she started doing HIIT also helped.
"In the photo on the left I was also training 5-6 days a week doing mostly weights and some low intensity cardio.
"For the 20 day challenge I did purely workouts from @hit_man_dan (thank you)."
She was also able to shrink her waistline by 2.5 inches.
"From 27.5” waist to 25”! Progress is progress no matter how small.

Ina shared some of her workout routines from the past few weeks.
The Kapuso actress usually does different exercises every day, with sessions lasting from 15-20 minutes.
Last Friday, October 12, she did 24 air squats, 24 pushups, 24 lunges, and 24 double unders for six rounds.
For her core workouts, she did heel taps, bicycles, leg raises, and cherry bombs with 20 repetitions and 4 sets.
