Anne Curtis is slowly but surely getting herself back in shape.
The 34-year-old Kapamilya actress-host flaunted the hard-earned results of her regular workouts and healthy diet last January 31 on Instagram.
Many of her followers got inspired after seeing her toned abs.
In the caption, Anne revealed she weighed around 130 pounds by the end of 2018.
She wanted to the start the year with a healthier mindset and finally decided to get back to working out with her go-to fitness coach Arnold Aninion.
In three weeks time, Anne shed almost 10 pounds of unwanted weight.
The It's Showtime host wrote, "I was at 130lbs after a year of YOLO in 2018. Pero now, on my 3rd week it’s coming through!
"As of today, I’m at 121lbs losing excess fat but not losing my muscle mass."
Based on her Instagram stories, Anne is targeting to get her weight down to around 110 to 115 pounds.
To achieve this, Anne does high intensity workouts and weight training with the guidance of Arnold.
She also does group workouts with her close friends and fitness buddies, including Isabelle Daza and Solenn Heussaff to make the activity more fun.
She also had to lower her calorie intake to 1,200 through vegetarian ketogenic diet, which consists of plant-based proteins, eggs, and high-fat dairy.
In the same post, Anne revealed feeling like she was not achieving her expectations at first, but the actress-host continued to motivate herself to achieve her goal.
She wrote, "Going on my 3rd week on @ketovegetarianph and working with my coach @arnoldaninion
"FINALLY there is progress. First week was a struggle specially when we had to lower my calorie count to 1200.
"Second week I kinda felt like Ano ba to? Pamatay na workouts ko pero parang konti lang ang difference."
She also notes the importance of not depriving yourself, saying she has her cheat days too.
"Although on weekends, I let myself indulge in food I love to eat!!!! Pero Hindi OA ha.
"Can’t wait to reach my goal that is my normal and average weight for my height! FIGHTING! [fire emoji]
"Standing with everyone that is working hard to reach their fitness goals this 2019! #strong"
Meanwhile, on Arnold's Instagram feed, he commended Anne for her hard work and determination to achieve her fitness goal.
The fitness coach wrote, "Always the consummate professional and now reaping the rewards of her hard work and commitment. Let’s keep going and keep growing."
