Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres chose to spend the recent holidays in Ormoc City.
Lucy, who is currently serving as the fourth district's representative, put out a few photos on Instagram, giving glimpses of the house where she grew up.
Her caption read:
"The last afternoon of the decade. Spent quietly and at home, in Ormoc City where I grew up.
"I wrote out more Christmas cards, made friends with the chicken and geese in our backyard, enjoyed the warmth of blue skies and a yellow sun."
She also had a chat with her brothers Jules (standing) and Matt, who oversee the family's farms in Kananga town, where the latter is the mayor.
Lucy continued, "When dusk settled my brothers Matt and Jules came by and we hung out for a bit, talking about nothing and everything, while I filled out random pages of a little book I’ve had forever.
"Cheers to the New Year. And may the coming decade be gentle and kind, and many shades of wonderful."
The actor and his wife live in Carlota Hills, a prestigious subdivision in Ormoc.
Lucy's parents Manuel "Manoling" Torres Jr. and Julie Martínez own hectares of land, including a sugar plantation.
The family home has a sprawling backyard...
...and an ample space for huge gatherings.
