The three-month-old bahay kubo of celebrity couple Gwen Zamora and David Semerad in Batangas got slightly affected by the Taal Volcano euption on January 12, 2020.
According to the actress's Instagram post dated January 17, the Semerad cabin "got ash rained on."
One of the photos showed David scraping the bahay kubo's roof.

But the shocking thing for Gwen was the monochromatic landscape of the roads they passed through.
Her caption read, "It was honestly heartbreaking, seeing tagaytay as if it were in a black and white filter. It gave tears to my eyes.
"Being a new mother you can’t help but wonder what future or how safe will your child be, it honestly brought me anxiety.
"From bush fires in Australia, floods in korea, volcano eruptions around the world and earthquakes. Mother nature is clearly teaching us a lesson, but Lord please keep us safe in the process. #PrayForTheWorld"

Based on her latest post, their probinsiya life is almost back to normal.
Posting a shot of their kitchen, Gwen wrote, "Simplicity at its finest."
David's Instagram stories yesterday featured their new fence and Gwen's meeting with their contractor for the Semerad cabin's "next phase."
