Rocco Nacino's favorite hangout of late is the construction site of his house in Antipolo City.
Based on the recent photo he posted, it is almost finished.
According to the 32-year-old homeowner's post: the installation of airconditioning system is done, and the "exterior accent tiles and finishing of paint coating" will be the next.
And his original plan of having three stories was dropped. If he won't be having a basement, Rocco's mansion will have four stories.
Here's a peek into his master's bedroom, which has a superb view of Pasig and Rizal.
The entire floor will be his private space, and will have an area for his office.
His post dated January 31, 2020 bore this caption:
"Tulala mode at nag-iisip kung ano ilalagay dito. Being hands-on means paying attention to biggest, and smallest of details. Okay so this is my Master's bedroom. Bed being made already, and super excited to wake up to this view every morning! Ang tumatakbo sa isip ko dito? Hmmmm. Curtains, black out curtains, o blinds?"
The stairs leading to his floor.
In the caption, he mentioned why he wants the interiors to be all-white. It "provides a certain calmness..." he said.
Here's the game room, and how the Kapuso actor visualized it:
"Okay so imagine with me,
"Theater L Shaped couch at the back facing the camera, accent recliner chair on the side, Custom Bean bags on the floor, center table in the middle on top of a carpet, Pinball Machine way over on the left side, Drum Set in front of it. Vintage arcade machine all the way on the right side, Mini bar beside it. Sound system with Vinyl Player right beside the mini bar, and movie posters up on the wooden clad wall. Upholstered cladded walls for sound proofing, Accent lights on the metal frame, and a projector over my head to watch movies on a motorized white screen to cover the sliding door.
"Na-imagine niyo na? Abangan ang progress this month! Hataw pa Rocco para maka-enjoy na dito sa game room!"
The photo, which was uploaded on Instagram on February 13, elicited a suggestion from Dingdong Dantes: "Don’t forget the below zero freezer for the beer."
Rocco replied, "check!!! Just ordered! Alpha team poker night!"
The two are main stars of the Philippine adaptation of the hit South Korean series Descendants of The Sun.
Rocco purchased the lot in 2015, and began the construction of his house in 2018. His target is to move in this 2020.
HOUSE-CONSTRUCTION TIPS FROM ROCCO
In his exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in September 2018, the StarStruck alumnus underlined the importance of planning before building a home.
Rocco took his time, and was very specific with what he wanted.
Back then, he said, "I have a lot of balconies. It has a lot of glass so the sun can just come in and make everything beautiful.
"There's a lot of wood and glass involved, lots of high ceilings.
"There's a game room and a man cave, for me."
Space was also his primary consideration because he hopes to organize "get-togethers."
However, the layout should encourage interaction among the members of his family.
"It's a house that's made to have everyone interact with everyone. Ayoko yung mag-i-intercom ka pa. Gusto ko yung isang tawag lang, maririnig na talaga."
