Rhian Ramos had just moved to a new condo unit and wanted to spruce up her room.
She can rest easy now that her room has gotten a makeover courtesy of her good friend Maggie Wilson.
Maggie did a vlog on how she redesigned Rhian's personal space, which she uploaded on YouTube last Monday, June 14, 2021.
Rhian can sleep comfortably as well because she got exactly the bed she had always wanted.
In fact, it all started when Rhian asked about the four-poster bed she saw in one of Maggie's vlogs.
The Kapuso actress recalled, "The only instruction, I guess, that I had was this bed because it's how it all started, really.
"I was so interested in getting the bed that everything else happened as well.
"I had been into so many furniture stores and I couldn't find one that is my taste or that I liked until I saw the video where Maggie re-did her mom's place.
"And I paused it and took a screen cap. And I sent to her, 'Is this Acasa?' Because the second I saw it in the video, I was like, 'That's the bed! That's the bed I want! Finally!'
"Had I not seen that, the way this room would look: the mattress on the floor, you know, like college life, you know.
"I would've just done that until I found the right one but this was the one!"
From there, Maggie and her team in Acasa Manila stepped in and helped Rhian redesign her personal space into an urban glam bedroom.
One of the major challenges they encountered was that Maggie's workers couldn't do much drilling because Rhian is only renting the space.
Maggie had the walls painted cool gray.
Since they couldn't remove the built-in cabinet, Maggie decided to use contact paper to change the cabinet finish and match freshly painted cool gray walls.
On Rhian's request about having a small work desk, Maggie got this minimalist table-and-chair combo from Studio Soliven.
Rhian said, "I needed just like a little spot where I can do my work and not on the bed because I'll never get anything done."
Maggie also installed sheer and block curtains from Raphyten Marketing.
For extra lighting, Maggie opted for tabletop lights from Home Cartel.
She also placed a custom-made rug and floor cushions because Rhian loves spending time on her bedroom floor.
