For starters, Herlene details the importance of investing in things that are beneficial to one's job.
HERLENE BUDOL's investments
As a public figure, investing in resources to enhance her public image is essential.
It's not merely about vanity.
Whether it's using a Silka deodorant or receiving treatment from a beauty clinic, Herlene views these as confidence boosters and requisites to her job.

"Self-care ako, self-love ako," she says.
The 24-year-old model-actress also unveils another secret she has been keeping under wraps: "And also, I have... secret pa ito, e.
"Nakabili na po ako ng lupa ko."
At present, Herlene lives in a house bought in 2022 by her former talent manager, Wilbert Tolentino.
Injecting a touch of humor into the conversation, she adds, "Inunahan mo ako. Meron akong mga lupang nabili so, happy ako."
Herlene then talks about expanding her apartment business, sharing: "Yung apartment ko, gusto kong dagdagan so baka, nagpapaayos lang ako kahit konti-konti lang.

HERLENE BUDOL ON NEEDS VS WANTS
When it comes to money matters, Herlene proudly goes, "Sobrang hindi ako maluhong tao."
With projects and endorsements in the pipeline, the Binibining Pilipinas 2022 first runner-up has steadfastly avoided a scattergood mentality.
And then also, sabi kasi sa akin... Sino ba nagturo sa akin..."
She clasps her hands together, attempting to recall the advice: "Buy what you need, don't buy what you want."
Regarding the most expensive purchase she has made for herself, she points to her car: "Siguro sasakyan. Sasakyan, yun."
Although she acknowledges it as more of a necessity than a mere desire, she still considers it a luxury: "Pero luho pa rin siya. Ay, luho in a way... Ay, pangangailangan in a way na luho din."
Talking about her car, she mentions, "So 2021 pa yun.
Another item she categorizes as a luxury is her laptop although it also serves a purpose beyond mere extravagance.
