Vice Ganda now prefers a quiet, simple life over grand living.

During an interview with MJ Felipe on the TFC show Are You G? on July 7, 2025, the It’s Showtime host shared how his mindset shifted—from dreaming of a huge house to embracing a more practical home.

"This used to be my dream house," Vice said, referring to his current mansion, which was completed in 2022.

“Nagbago na yung trip ko. Gusto ko ng mas maliit na bahay. Gusto ko na ng mas simple lang. Gusto ko ng kulay puting buhay,” he explained.

"Dati ayoko ng puting bahay. Gusto ko dark siya."

He attributed this change to a shift in perspective shaped by time and aging: "Siguro yung state of mind, yung sensibilities mo, nag-iiba habang tumatanda ka, di ba?"

The Unkabogable Star recalled that during his struggling days, owning a large house was one of his childhood goals.

But once those dreams came true, he realized that simple living brought him more joy: "Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na na-achieve mo yun.

Another reason he wants to leave behind the big house is that he finds it hard to locate his partner, Ion Perez, in such a large space with so many rooms.

VICE GANDA SAVORS LIFE'S SIMPLE JOYS

After years of chasing grand dreams and living large, he now finds joy in the small, meaningful moments that bring genuine happiness.

This change was made clear recently when Vice shared an intimate glimpse into his life—trading a typical workday for an impromptu rain shower with his mother and relatives.

On July 21, 2025, he woke up to heavy rain, and instead of heading straight to work, he followed a childhood instinct and played in the rain.

The host-comedian recounted on Instagram (published as is): "Gumising ng maaga para magtrabaho.

This simple act of joy—bathing in the rain alongside his mother—brought Vice a happiness that words could hardly capture.

Knowing he had work the next day, Vice savored the uncertain moment, aware that such carefree times might not come again soon.

"Napakasaya. Ang sarap," he went on.

#EtoAngTotoongPriceless"

Vice’s story is living proof that sometimes, the best life is found in the smallest moments.

His lighthearted spirit shone again when a netizen questioned his video of rolling around in the rain, asking, "Meme bakit ka naman gumugulong sa kalsada HAHAHA ems."

Vice’s response? "Yan talaga yung ‘living my best life!'"
