Anne Curtis’s fashion choices aren’t the only things that changed after becoming a mother. Her home style underwent a major shift, too.
The celebrity mom revealed this in an interview with the press including PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) on September 8, 2025, during her masterclass with Anko and home-and-design expert Sarah Dummett.

Anne admitted that when she was building her current home, making it child-proof or child-friendly was the last thing on her mind.
She simply wanted a space where she could relax after a long day at work, which is why she chose a Japandi aesthetic.
Anne explained: "With my home, when we were building, hindi mo naman iniisip ka agad na okay...no time!
"When I was building, nung bini-build namin, I didn't think about like, 'Oh, how to make a safe space for a kid,' right?"
But one thing she now looks for when buying for her home is multi-functionality, especially items that double as storage.
Anne said: "Now, kahit gaano ka-clean yung gusto kong look, there will always be toys here, underneath the sofa.
“And I was just saying, that's why I want to make sure I get my hands on the ottoman kasi you can put all this stuff in and it will still fit the living room.
“So that's changed, like having to look for more storage space.”
Aside from furniture that doubles as storage, Anne’s home staples—especially with her daughter Dahlia around—include items many moms can relate to: coloring supplies and educational toys.
"Right now, I'm gonna have to say coloring products. Because, you know, we don't really allow much screen time, especially if we're out in restaurants.
"And those who have seen us can attest that we always have, whether it's markers, crayons...
"We have something that she can color, write, draw, even that sketching pad, we have that also. So those are my non-negotiables at five.
"It changes. It keeps changing. It keeps changing every year. It's awesome."

How does she keep her house welcoming for guests?
"I personally have a vanilla scent in my home because it feels cozy and warm,
"Whenever guests walk in, they're always like, 'Ang malamig ba iyan?' For me, a nice scent is very welcoming.
"Like, so yeah, that's for me. It's welcoming when you have a nice scent on you."

Anne added, "I'm a top fan of the candles. I can never get enough of the candles."
What recent home finds and must-haves has she discovered?
Anne shared: "I have this, like this marble tray. So I put a lot of my cheeses on it. Sometimes I put my candles on it.
"Going around today, I saw that the muslin bed sheets. I think are definitely gonna be my favorite from starting today.
"I have to get a set before it runs out because the fabric is so nice and... And the cooling quilt, and it's so affordable.
