Like the Mattel doll sharing her name, Barbie Imperial finally has an abode she can call her dream house.
After a decade of steady work in the industry, the Kapamilya actress has reached a milestone that reflects both stability and long-earned reward.
On January 20, 2026, Barbie takes to Instagram to share moments from the groundbreaking ceremony of her newest project—a home located in Albay, in the Bicol region.
Posting a carousel, she proudly wrote, “MAY BAHAY NA AKO SA BICOL,” accompanied by celebratory emojis.

Barbie follows this with a message encapsulating the long journey that led to this (published as is): “oh my… 10 years in the industry and was able to put a roof over my mama and kuya’s heads, and now i have my own home in my province.
“thank you to everyone who helped me achieve my dreams in life. i’m especially thankful to ABS-CBN and my Star Magic family for all the projects they trusted me with. to everyone who trusted me and continues to trust me, thank you.
“nakakaiyak kasi sobrang pinagpaguran ko to ng ilang taon.. puyat, pagod, at ilang beses na iyak. huhu salamat sa diyos at syempre sa nagiisa kong lakas, mama.. para sayo to lahat.

Barbie then acknowledges her cousin, Pat Marbella of Vesta Architects Co., for designing the house, sharing the project’s rendered visuals in the same post.
According to the firm, the house is named Solmera—a concept drawn from “Sol” (Sun) and “Mera” (Essence), translating to Pure Sun.
In a separate post, the design firm described the project as: “Designed with organic forms and a beach-like mimic pool, inspired by the essential sun and sea.
“A home where warmth, clarity, and harmony define everyday living, with breathtaking views of Mayon Volcano.”

DETAILS OF BARBIE IMPERIAL'S DREAM HOME
Unlike the first house she built for her family, this personal sanctuary is designed solely for Barbie.
The rendered visuals reveal a modern tropical home defined by fluid, organic architecture.

Curved rooflines and soft silhouettes dominate the structure, creating a seamless dialogue between the built environment and its natural surroundings.
Floor-to-ceiling glass panels open the home to natural light, while sheer curtains soften the interiors, allowing the space to breathe.
At the heart of the design is a beach-inspired mimic pool, shaped with gentle curves that echo the home’s flowing form. The pool appears to melt into the deck, blurring boundaries between indoor comfort and outdoor leisure.

Sunken lounge areas and low-profile seating suggest a space meant for rest, reflection, and slow living.
A sculptural spiral staircase anchors one side of the property, adding both function and visual drama, while air-hole walls and wood finishes introduce warmth and tactility.

Lush landscaping surrounds the home, reinforcing its resort-like feel and sense of privacy.
One of the place's most striking features is its orientation toward Mayon Volcano, with carefully framed views that turn the iconic peak into a constant backdrop.

Building her first home for the family
Barbie’s latest milestone follows another deeply meaningful achievement years earlier.
Back in December 2019, just days before the year ended, the actress revealed that she had fulfilled one of her biggest life goals: building a home for her mother and older half-brother after four years in show business.
“Dream come true! And I still can’t believe it. Bago matapos ang 2019, I finally have my own house!” she wrote at the time.
She also shared photos with her family, including her brother Bryce and her mother, Bing.
“Ang tagal kong pinaghirapan, at pinag-ipunan ‘to. Thank you, Lord!” she added, also thanking the people and projects that helped make the dream possible.
