Even the closest friendships aren’t immune to misunderstandings—something Ashley Ortega knows all too well.
In the February 7, 2026 episode of Your Honor, the podcast hosted by Chariz Salomon and Buboy Villar, Ashley candidly opened up about a light but memorable argument she once had with her best friend and real-life housemate, Shuvee Etrata.
According to Ashley, the small clash happened over one thing: kalat.
"Ako, naglilinis ako. Si Shuvee, love ko si Shuvee. Tanggap ko na talaga na burara siya at makalat siyang tao," she shared, laughing as she recalled the moment.
"Hindi. Talaga. Dun kami nag-aaway."

The two have been inseparable even before Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, where both Ashley and Shuvee were part of the show’s line-up.
But once the season ended, their schedules got packed with back-to-back projects—leaving little time for household chores.
"Nung after PBB kasi, nag-tuluy-tuloy yung work namin tapos bigla na lang dumami yung… Yung condo namin, bigla na lang parang naging…warehouse,” Ashley said.
Because of their hectic work days, they were rarely home. And without a helper to keep things in order, clutter piled up fast.
"Actually, kaming dalawa, halos hindi na umuuwi. Tapos wala pa kaming helper, tapos umuuwi kami, madaling araw. So tambak na lang yung mga gamit,” she added.
Eventually, the disarray began affecting Ashley’s peace of mind.
"Sabi ko, 'Shocks, I can’t have a peaceful moment if uuwi ako ng bahay tapos mukhang bodega.'"
This pushed Ashley to finally sit down with Shuvee and talk things out. That discussion led them to a single, practical solution: Ashley told her, “Babe, let’s transfer to a new place.”
When they finally moved, Ashley and Shuvee established a system to preserve harmony in their shared space.
They decided to divide the house by floors: the second floor for Shuvee, and the first floor for Ashley.
"And then yun nga, may kanya-kanyang floor na kami," Ashley explained.
"Sa floor niya, magkalat siya dun ng lahat ng kalat niya. Hindi ko siya papakialaman. Kaya dun siya sa taas actually, para hindi ko makita yung kalat niya."
For her part, Ashley keeps her own floor organized according to her preference—but with shared spaces as their non-negotiable compromise.
"Sa sarili kong floor, makalat. Pero make sure sa living and sa dining, malinis. Kasi parang sa atin na iyan, e."
This set-up proved to be a game-changer for their living arrangement, helping them avoid unnecessary frustration.
Despite the teasing, Ashley clarified, "I’m not judging her na makalat."
"Siguro based lang din on how she grew up also sa province.
"Sinabi niya, di ba, ang dami rin talaga nilang magkakapatid. So maraming gamit din talaga yun. So dun siya sanay."
She also proudly shared that Shuvee has improved a lot since they started living together.
"Pero ngayon naman, nag-improve na siya... Pero lumilinis na siya. Siguro, natuto din sa akin."
