At just 25 years old, content creator and former Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition housemate Mika Salamanca has reached one of her biggest milestones yet: building her dream home.
On July 16, 2026, Mika uploaded a YouTube vlog giving her followers a first look at the home she had been working on even before entering Bahay ni Kuya.
In the video, Mika revealed that the construction is already nearing completion, with only a few finishing touches left to be done, including landscaping, curtain installation, and the arrival of some remaining furniture pieces.
She said: “Itong bahay na ito, kuwento ko lang sa inyo, ang tagal na niya na ginagawa. Parang before pa ako pumasok ng PBB ginagawa na siya.
"And now, malapit na tayo sa pagkatatapos niya. Labas na lang. Yung interior niya tapos na. Kinukumpleto ko na lang yung mga gamit.”
While Mika chose not to disclose the exact location of her new home, she spoke about one of the things she loves most about the area: its peaceful surroundings.
“Yun yung isa sa mga nagustuhan ko sa lugar na ito. Sobrang tahimik.
“Sabi nga ng mga kaibigan ko pag tinatanong nila ako, ‘Bakit doon ka nagpagawa? And saka bakit para ka nang magre-retire?’
“Hindi ba dapat yun ang goal? Yun naman kasi yung goal ko guys, e. Parang tahimik na buhay talaga.”
The social media personality then joked about the contrast between her career and her desire for a quiet life.
She quipped, “Wow, tahimik na buhay tapos nag-artista.”
MIKA SALAMANCA: HOUSE TOUR
The first part of the house Mika showed was the living room, which features a spacious and open layout.
Explaining her vision for the space, Mika said she intentionally wanted a home that felt airy and uncluttered.
“Ito yung loob na ng bahay. Sobrang luwag niya lang and para siyang kumbaga pagka pumasok ka sa loob ng bahay alam mong isang tao lang yung nakatira, bata, ganun.
“Gusto ko ganun yung feels. And gusto ko like sobrang luwag lang kasi pagka tumitira ako sa isang lugar, pagka nai-stress ako, yung buong furnitures ko napapalitan, nag-iiba-iba ng puwesto.
“If matagal na kayo sa channel ko, alam niyo iyan. Pero kung hindi, e, welcome to my channel.
"Ganun ako, so gusto ko talaga nakikita ko lahat. Kasi pagka hindi ko nakikita yung isang bagay, hindi ko siya naaalala for some reason.
"Kaya pagka pumunta ka dito sa gilid, bumanyo ka dito sa dulo, tumingin ka diyan, tumingin ka doon, alam mo yung gamit mo.
"Ganun yung gusto kong atake. And ganun yung bahay ko.”
Next up was the display dining and kitchen area, which Mika tapped I’m Home Manila to redesign. The space features a modern aesthetic accented with warm wood elements.
Mika revealed that the house has three floors, each serving a different purpose.
“Bali tatlong floor siya. Unang floor is para sa mga kasama sa bahay, driver, dirty kitchen, everything na nangyayari.
“Hindi ko na ipapakita sa inyo iyan. Tapos dito naman sa second floor, ito yung living room, dining, and then yung display kitchen.”

The vlog also gave viewers a glimpse of Mika's bedroom, which has yet to be fully completed.
But Mika said she prefers keeping her bedroom simple.
"Tapos gusto ko din, sobrang parang tulugan lang talaga siya. Ayaw ko na masyadong malaki."
Beside her bed is a shelf she plans to fill with her anime manga collection.
The room also features large windows that let in plenty of natural light.
Aside from her bedroom, Mika also gave a sneak peek of her shower and bathroom as well as her all-white walk-in closet.
Mika also showed her personal office, which stands out from the rest of the house with its gray color palette.
The room was designed to function as both a workspace and a potential streaming area, should she decide to return to creating gaming content.
“Ito naman yung parang pinaka-office ko. Or like kung babalik ako sa streaming. I'm not sure if I'm gonna go back to streaming, pero may spot."
MIKA SALAMANCA REGRETS BUYING FURNITURE too EARLY
With most of the interiors already completed, Mika appears to be in the home stretch of finishing the house.
But if there’s one lesson she learned during the construction process, it’s this: don’t buy furniture before the house is finished.
The content creator admitted she had already been purchasing furniture while the home was still being built—something she now advises against after realizing her preferences changed over time.
She said, “Marami pa akong papalitan na furniture dito.
"During the process nung paggawa ng bahay, nagbubuo na din ako ng furnitures.
"Tapos pag nabuo pala yung bahay and the more you visit it, nag-iiba pala yung gusto mo."
Because of this, Mika said some of the pieces she had previously bought may eventually be replaced.
