Shuvee Etrata says that, with all the opportunities that have come her way since entering showbiz, she is now able to provide for her family.

Not only can she support them financially, but she can also send her siblings to school.

Shuvee is one of nine children.

At the press con of From Vlog to Love, her upcoming Kapuso digital series with Anthony Constantino, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asks the Cebuana actress about her most expensive purchases to date.

“Bahay, lupa, mga bahay… sasakyan… mahal na pala mga bahay ngayon!” she quips.

Shuvee, who hails from Bantayan Island, shares that her family’s house, being built on land she also purchased, is now nearing completion.

“Baka next month nakatira na silang lahat doon. As in sobrang dami ko pong biniling balikbayan box from Canada,” referring to her recent out-of-the-country trip for Kapuso shows.

She continues: “Mga plato-plato, mga Pyrex-Pyrex sa bahay para maganda po ang bahay.

“So, excited ako na makumpleto na ang bahay. Nasa finishing na kami, mga appliances and everything…”

She also confirms that she has plans of buying a house in Metro Manila.

“Yung bahay dito, I’m working on it. I’m saving up for it, kasi gusto ko na din talaga magkaroon ng sarili dito.

“I’m finding a property that’s really good to invest in. So, I’m being more intentional with my finances, so kaya nag-iisip pa ako.”

SHUVEE'S BUCKET LIST

Apart from her recent trip to Canada, Shuvee was also able to travel to New York in the U.S. and also to Asian countries like Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand.

She has been able to travel abroad either by saving up or as part of her work as a celebrity.

Visiting different countries has opened her eyes to just how vast the world is.

That is why travel remains at the top of her bucket list.

“Nakita ko kung gaano kalaki ang mundo, my gosh!” she exclaims.

“Ang laki ng mundo na hindi ko alam, ang liit-liit ko lang pala.

"I’ve realized how beautiful the world is, and kung gaano pa karami ang puwede kong puntahan para ma-discover pa yung gusto kong gawin."

More specifically, she wants to travel and discover Europe.

ON HER FIRST STARRING ROLE

Although she appeared in a couple of Kapuso prime-time series, like Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre and The Master Cutter, the digital series From Vlog to Love is Shuvee’s first starring role.

“This is my dream project: to do a rom-com with somebody I’m comfortable with,” she says referring to Anthony.

“Sobra akong masaya na binigyan nila kami ng platform to actually test or showcase our talents.”

It is no secret that Shuvee and Anthony have been romantically linked for some time now.

Nonetheless, Shuvee is grateful to work alongside Anthony in the digital series, which is also Anthony's first major acting project.

“We get to learn together. Sabay po naming natutunan yung mga kailangan naming matutunan, and it’s really nice,” says Shuvee.

While working on the series, the actress discovers that Anthony is naturally patient.

She adds: “Hindi siya mahirap kausapin. Once kinausap mo siya, parang he’s really emotionally intelligent.

“Upon doing this series, mas na-discover ko mas may ikaka-mature pa pala siya, kasi sobra na niyang mature sa paningin ko. Mas may ikaka-mature pa pala siya as a person.”

The series will premiere on September 18, 2026, via GMA Network’s YouTube channel.
