Klea Pineda believes that understanding the value of money means making smart investment decisions.
The actress talks about this mindset in an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) after walking the runway for Bench Fashion Week Holiday 2026, at SPACE @ One Ayala in Makati City on September 27, 2026.
KLEA PINEDA: LA UNION VILLA
According to Klea, one of her biggest investments this year is a property in La Union, which she hopes to develop into an Airbnb villa in the near future.
"Actually ngayon, yung this year, ang big investment namin is yung lot sa La Union and next year sana ma-start na namin siya.
"Gagawin namin siyang ano... villa, Airbnb villa. Parang bakasyonan sa La Union since palagi naman kami nasa La Union ng family ko and of course ni Janella," she says.
The property had already generated buzz months earlier.
In March 2026, news about Klea's land purchase in La Union with actress Janella Salvador made rounds on social media.
When asked whether the property was located in the popular surf town of San Juan, La Union, Klea clarifies that it is actually in Bacnotan, a quieter municipality a few towns away.
"Parang two or three towns away from San Juan... [yung] Bacnotan."
Klea explains that the location's peaceful atmosphere was one of the reasons they chose to invest there.
For Klea, the town offers a different kind of vacation experience, one that provides privacy and relaxation away from the crowds often associated with more tourist-heavy destinations.
"Konti lang yung tao. Talagang ma-feel mo na nagbabakasyon ka and malayo ka sa mga tao, sa ingay.
"So kung gusto mo ng quiet and mare-relax ka talaga, parang doon ka sa area na yun."
Klea also reveals how she patiently searched for a lot that matched both her budget and long-term plans.
When asked how long she had been saving for the purchase, she replies: "Naghahanap lang talaga ako ng right lot and right price para doon sa naipon ko and finally nahahanap namin doon sa Bacnotan, La Union, sakto. Yun."
KLEA PINEDA: DREAM CAR
Klea's new real estate investment came around the same time that she fulfilled another major goal: purchasing one of her dream vehicles.
On July 18, 2026, Klea took to Instagram to reveal that she had bought a 2027 Toyota Hilux Conquest 4x4 A/T.
"Meet 'Paps,'" she wrote in the caption of her post.
For those curious, a brand-new 2027 Toyota Hilux Conquest 4x4 A/T carries a suggested retail price of PHP2,611,000 in the Philippines.
On August 2, Klea revealed that she had the vehicle customized. On Instagram, she wrote: "Paps turned out exactly how I wanted it. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. [emoji] Big thanks to @teamridemaxph Jarvis, Jasper, and Jason!
