House blessing for Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna's dream home

Pauleen Luna on her dream home with Vic Sotto: "Hands on talaga kami dito. We didn't get a project manager. Kami talaga ang…parang from the floor to the ceiling to the doors to everywhere, kami talaga ang nag-ayos."

The house blessing for Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna's house in an exclusive village in Laguna was held yesterday, July 3.

Among the early birds were Tony Tuviera, owner of T.A.P.E and APT Entertainment, and his wife Mads Tuviera.

EB Dabarkads Alden Richards and Anjo Yllana, who both live in the south, showed up.

Also present were Vic's brothers Senator Tito Sotto, who came with wife Helen Gamboa, Val, and Maru; and the comedian's children Oyo Sotto and wife Kristine Hermosa, Danica Sotto-Pingris with her kids in tow, and Vico.

Pauleen's parents and brother Miguel came, too.

VIC'S CONSIDERATION. The house has three bedrooms, but only the master’s bedroom is being occupied.

They're reserving the other rooms for their future kids, or, as Vic put it, for his children's use each time they would want to stay overnight.

Pauleen said about their dream home, "Hands on talaga kami dito. We didn’t get a project manager.

"Kami talaga ang…parang from the floor to the ceiling to the doors to everywhere, kami talaga ang nag-ayos.

"Kumbaga, pinatayo lang talaga namin is structure.”

Vic added, "Kami-kami lang nag-isip, nag-design.

"Kasi mga arkitekto, mga bata. Kanya-kanyang mga ideya 'to, e. Pinagsama-sama na lang namin."

It was Pauleen's Mommy Chat who drew the plan, then the rest of their families gave suggestions.

Vic's primary consideration was it has to be spacious.

After one year and a half, the house was finally finished.

But while the construction was ongoing, Vic's children and his grandchildren, along with Pauleen's family, would usually stay during weekends.

Vic said, “Enjoy sila dito. Dun lang gumugulo yung bahay kapag kumpleto ang mga apo, e.

“Nung mga first few weeks, pumupunta talaga sila dito kasi ini-enjoy pa namin, e.

“Pero siguro sa next few weeks, babalik na ako sa normal routine na uuwi ako sa bahay namin ng Sunday para doon ako mag-lunch."

Pauleen threw in, "Pero nung mga first few weeks, sila talaga ang pinapapunta namin dito para mag-enjoy."

PAULEEN'S PRIORITY. For now, the actress wants to focus on her wife duties, so she has not been accepting offers to be part of any series.

She is still regularly seen on Eat Bulaga!, and will make guestings from time to time.

They're past the adjustment period, but Pauleen said she still discovered a lot of things about Vic during their first six months as husband and wife.

“Kasi we didn’t live together. Ngayon lang talaga kami tumira na magkasama. Ngayon ko lang talaga siya nakilala ng 1one hundred percent.

"Wala na talagang pretensions or anything,” said Pauleen.

They have not been fighting as well, and have not had any misunderstanding.

“Ini-enjoy lang talaga namin. Wala na talaga.

“Parang gets na talaga namin yung isa’t-isa.

"Kapag alam na namin na maiinis yung isa, hindi na namin itutuloy or ano lang muna, layo ka lang sandali, after a while, wala na."

Her next project: to have a baby.

But if she's not gonna get pregnant, they already have scheduled trips this year.

“We’ve planned to go to Africa 'tapos gusto rin namin mag-Holy Land. Travel-travel muna,” Pauleen ended.
