GMA-7 Solenn Heussaff and husband Nico Bolzico will be moving to their new home this June.
Solenn revealed that the renovations of their new home will be done in a few weeks, and she expressed her excitement to move in especially now that they're planning to have their own family.
The couple have been residing at a condominium in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
The 32-year-old model/actress/host revealed, "It's not that big. Maliit lang, since ayoko ng aso sa apartment. And I've been doing everything on my own for the past seven years.
"Wala akong katulong sa bahay or anything. So parang now, I just need a little help especially kung gusto ko maging mom in the future.
"Saka mas malaki din yung place, yung space."
The actress added why they decided to move into a new home.
"It was just time for us, I guess, since we've been living for seven years in an apartment.
"It's time for a mini upgrade."
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with the Kapuso actress last Thursday, May 17, during the HairGoals event of Watson’s at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
The My 2 Mommies actress initially wanted to buy a bigger condo unit. However, Solenn and Nico eventually decided to buy a house.
"It's not naman ultra-modern. Mas parang American house, I would say.
"Hindi pa ako nag-decorate pero it would be based more on Filipino furniture."
Solenn also said, "Nag-search ako ng parang mas malaking apartment kasi mas may safety, di ba?
"Kaso same price yung sa house so mas pinili ko yung sa house."
The interiors of their new home, which has been childproofed, were inspired by their cultural backgrounds (Solenn is a French-Filipina and Nico is Argentinian), and will very much resonate their personalities.
She explained, "Like my house now, may mix na konting Argentinian dahil sa metals and everything.
"'Tapos may konting French dahil sa walls and medyo eclectic na bohemian ako.
"So parang ganun, very homey. Ayoko ng super rigid like malinis lahat, na lahat maputi.
"Ayoko yung ganyan, dapat yung chill lang."
Is she going to give her fans a peek into their new home?
She shook her head, "It's not gonna be in any magazines, it's not gonna be featured in any show. Kasi ayun, I've always been private about my home.
"Minsan lang sa Instagram, pag nandun ako sa sala. But I'm not that type na mag-tour."
