Jennylyn Mercado may be busy doing teleserye work, but she’s also very hands on when it comes to home improvements.
Remember when she disposed of her bathtub and turned it into a walk-in closet?
“Nagkataon lang na hindi ko siya ginagamit. Sayang yung space kaya ginawa ko siyang closet.
“'Tapos yung house namin, mahilig talaga akong mag-ayos. Medyo O.C.
The Kapuso actress gave this statement in an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) after her contract signing with Tough Mama home appliances, held at Annabel’s Restaurant in Quezon City, last June 23.
What else has she redecorated at her Quezon City home recently?
Pilates is a system of exercises aimed to improve one's posture, strength, endurance, and flexibility. It was discovered by Joseph Pilates in early 20th century.
While Jennylyn has not posted a photo of her Pilates studio at home, a quick review of her Instagram feed shows her numerous trips to various fitness studios where she does gravity-defying Pilates movements.
Jennylyn pointed out, however, that having a studio at home doesn’t motivate her as much as visiting a fitness club.
Regarding her food intake, Jennylyn admitted that she doesn’t really follow a strict diet to keep fit.
In fact, she enjoys cooking Korean barbecue with her Tough Mama griller at home.
How does she maintain her bod then?
Referring to her GMA-7 primetime series The Cure, Jennylyn added, “Sa set namin, di ba, hindi naman glamorous, e.
“Kumbaga, forest, warehouse, takbuhan, stunts… siguro parang nakaka-work out na rin siya sa akin. Buong araw na workout!”
