Can you believe it's been 28 years since Rochelle Pangilinan first appeared on Eat Bulaga!?

As the star dancer of the now-defunct SexBomb Girls and, eventually, a Kapuso actress, Rochelle has had property investments, which include a home in Quezon City.

As the wife of Arthur Solinap, whose family owns hectares of land in Iloilo, she also tried venturing into planting sugarcane.

But before the morena beauty entered showbiz, she grew up in Dampalit, Malabon.

The heavy rains and floods brought by typhoon Inday these past few days made her reminisce about childhood.

On Instagram, she related, "May kuwento ako bilang maulan naman...

The good side of it was that classes were suspended.

Rochelle continued, "Ganun pa man, bilang bata, masaya ako kapag baha, walang pasok, at makakapaglaro ako kasama ang mga kaibigan, makakapag-swimming kami (malinis pa ang tubig baha dati)."

They would also have instant food.

Her life then was simple, but, "Haaayst...ang sarap talagang maging bata."

Sadly, kids of today can no longer have that kind of fun.

Referring to the baha, she said, "Ngayon, green na."
