Between Pancho Magno and Max Collins, it's the man of the house who turns out to be more domesticated.

Pancho himself is surprised about it.

"Nagulat din ako, hindi ko alam," he tells PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) during the mediacon for GMA-7 series Victor Magtanggol on July 23.

His chores extend to making sure every thing in the house is in order.

He continues, "Bumibili ako ng basahan.

Since they got married last December, he's been mostly planning their meals, with a helper who does the cooking.

"Meron kaming Monday tinola, Tuesday sinigang, Friday monggo day, gano'n ako, e.

He's in charge of the Filipino dishes, while his wife prepares the easy-to-do meals.

How did he learn how to cook?

And once he masters a certain dish, he tries to teach Max how to cook it.

SWEET GESTURES

Having different taping schedules does not restrict them from doing sweet small things for each other.

ADJUSTMENTS AS HUSBAND AND WIFE

They're still in the period of discovering each other's strengths and pet peeves, but so as not to complicate things, Pancho chooses to accept and understand his wife.

What has he so far discovered about Max?

The Kapuso actor replies, "Medyo strict din siya. Strict siya sa ilaw, laging nakabukas.

"Minsan, gusto kong batuhin yung switch pag nakakatamad tumayo. Lagi ko kasing nakakalimutan."

And because he keeps on forgetting to switch off the lights, here's what he thought of, "Minsan, gagawin ko lang, tanggalin ko na lang lahat ng ilaw sa bahay para selected na lang."

What has he learned about marriage so far?

His indirect answer points out the importance of give and take.

Example, di ba may aso kami? Mahirap din. Ako tiga-paligo, siya ang nagpapakain, palitan kami."

What's the usual cause of their tampuhan?

After a quick pause, he says, "Ang problema namin, sobrang bait namin sa maid.

Ano ba yun, mali ba yun or ano? Yun lang ang argumento namin.

"Wala kaming argumento, e. Dapat mag-away nga kami,” he says laughing.
