Maggie Wilson has designed her Taguig home to be like a private resort.
She said, "We spend so much money to go on trips, to escape the city life—our homes.
"But if you turn your home into a hotel room or a resort, it makes you happier to come home after a hard day's work.
"So, like my home, I designed my house to look like a resort.
"So that whenever I'm at home or whenever I have down time, I'm just happy to home. I feel relaxed.
"That's my philosophy."
She continued, "I think it's really important for you to invest in a beautiful home.
"You spend half of your life at home. So when you're not working or you're not on holiday, you're at home...
"It doesn't have to be expensive, you know, but invest in a space that makes you feel relaxed."
Maggie said she gets more her money's worth in furniture pieces or home decors than in bags or shoes.
"Because, at the end of the day, when you take all your shoes and clothes off, and you're in your pajamas sitting at home, that's what you're looking at.
"You're looking at the space that you live in, so it's really important to create a beautiful space for yourself."
CASA CONSUNJI
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) interviewed Maggie at the launch of her business partnership with website builder company, GoDaddy, last January 29.
The launch was held at the television host's newest business venture, Casa Consunji, a home interior design shop and cafe.
Maggie said her shop's interiors are almost similar to her home's.
"I have a little bit more color, but I have a lot of brass in my house.
"I have a lot palm trees, I have a lot of green and plants and all that stuff in my house.
"When people see my house, they always say, 'It feels like I'm at a resort' or 'I'm not in the Philippines, I'm at a hotel.'"
Maggie opened Casa Consunji in October 2018.
