Kathryn Bernardo is one step closer to achieving her "dream home."
On Tuesday, August 3, 2021, the ABS-CBN actress gave her fans an update on the construction of her future home with her family in Antipolo, Rizal.
She recently visited the site with her niece Lhexine Alcantara and shared some of the photos on her Instagram account.
"Slowly getting there.. [house emoji] I can’t believe it’s finally happening! [emoji]," she wrote in the caption of her post.

It was in March 2020 when Kathryn first broke ground for the construction of her dream home.
Kathryn's parents Teddy and Min Bernardo, her sister Chrysler and her niece Lhexine, and boyfriend Daniel Padilla were all present.

In a previous interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Kathryn said she initially planned on starting the construction in 2019.
The Kapamilya star revealed that this house and lot is actually her gift for her parents.
She bought the property sometime in 2016.
At the time, she said, "Hindi joke magpagawa ng bahay. Siyempre, kung may gusto akong ibigay kay Mama na dream house, iyong dream house na niya.
"So magtatrabaho pa ako and, hopefully, maka-start iyon soon kasi tatlong taon nang nandun iyong lupa. Sabi na lang namin, someday, uunti-untiin natin iyan."
