"Wais" mom Neri Miranda and husband Chito Miranda are showing their five-year-old son Miggy this early how to be smart about money.
In her Instagram post on Thursday, February 17, 2022, Neri said she and Chito have bought for Miggy a condominium unit using the money the boy earned from his endorsements.
Miggy's one-bedroom condo unit a few minutes away from SM North and TriNoMa in Quezon City will be turned over to Neri and Chito in March 2022.
The 36-year-old celebrity mom wrote in her post, "By March matatapos na ang Miggy's Condo! Yahoooooo!
"Since may mga endorsements na si Miggy, inipon ko ang money nya para makapag-invest at mapagkakitaan pa rin. Para habang bata pa, may negosyo na siya.
"Tuturuan namin ang mga bata na maging financially literate.
"I think ayun ang dapat matutunan nating lahat kahit nung bata pa lang tayo eh.
"Pero it's not too late sa atin kahit anong edad pa tayo. Ang mahalaga, nagsisimula na tayo. [emoji]
"Eto ang una niyang investment at negosyo. Diretso talaga sa bank account niya ang kikitain."
According to Neri, she started paying for the unit using Miggy's talent fee for a baby brand advertisement when he was just starting to walk.
"Yun na ginamit ko sa mga panimulang payment. After ilang years, buo nang nabayaran...
"Kaya excited na akong maparentahan, hehe! Para ipon ulit, next project naman sana, if may pasok sa budget."
Neri has tapped Grupo Santa Maria to design the interiors of Miggy's condo unit, which will be rented out for short-term stays.
She wrote, "Daily ang rent, since ipinaayos talaga namin ang condo sa @grupo.santamaria parang nagstay ka na rin sa hotel pero mas affordable.
"Walking distance pa ang malls. Update ko kayo soon kung kailan puwede nang marentahan. #MiggysCondo #WaisNaBata #PamilyaWais"
Neri also recently made headlines after buying her husband a yacht as a birthday gift.
The yacht is also available for rent to vacationers staying at their condo unit in Pico de Loro in Nasugbu, Batangas.
Aside from Miggy, Neri and Chito have two other kids: their four-month-old son Baby Cash and daughter Sophia.
