Claudia Barretto is now Mrs. Basti Lorenzo.
The couple’s decade-long relationship culminated in an intimate wedding ceremony held yesterday, April 8, 2025.
The reception happened at the Lakehall at Nena's Sanctuary in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
Who is Basti Lorenzo?
The groom is an accomplished golfer.
Earlier this year, he successfully defended his Open Division title at the Manila Golf Club Championships, narrowly defeating his older brother, Santi, in an exciting finish.
Claudia's husband is one of 12 children of Martin Ignacio Lorenzo and Leah de Leon Lorenzo.
His father is the chairman of First Lucky Holdings Corp., a conglomerate involved in food retail, sugar farming, and finance through the Bangko ng Kabuhayan rural bank.
It also has investments in educational and training institutions such as Chinese International School Manila, Domuschola International School, American International School Manila, International School for Culinary Arts & Hotel Management, and Everest Academy, where Claudia finished her high-school education.
His family owns GoNut Donuts, too.
Basti is the younger brother of Mateo, the husband of Erich Gonzales and chairman of the Restaurant Concepts Group, Inc. (RCGI), which runs Barcino, Bluesmith Coffee abnd Kitchen, Meat Depot, and Single Origin.

It was the first time she openly spoke about their relationship, which had her mother Marjorie Barretto’s blessing from the very beginning.
Claudia said, "Every stage. Like when he first started asking me out, when I started liking him, I was very vocal about it, and I told my mom every thing."
She described their relationship as “super normal,” saying, “we go on dates, hang out at each other’s houses—just like any regular couple.”
Meanwhile, in a separate interview with Magandang Buhay, Claudia, then a 17-year-old showbiz newcomer, commended Basti for being very supportive of her endeavors.
She told the show's hosts, "Even if I feel like I'm not doing well, he thinks I'm super, super good.
"So I just find in him strength also."
Her good friend Alora threw in, "Alam mo iyong boyfriend niya, super cool.
"Kapag may performance siya [Claudia], siya [Basti] iyong taga-video."
Alora also revealed that one of the couple's pastimes is hitting the gym.
One of the best things about her husband is that he has never stood in the way of her becoming the best version of herself.
This model/singer finished high school with honors at Everest Academy Manila, an international school in Taguig City.
In August 2022, Claudia graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in Psychology.
She is presently a talent of Viva Artists Agency, and appears at various lifestyle events.
At 25 years old, 2025 marks a milestone year for her: a decade with Basti and the beginning of their married life.
