Ruru Madrid has a new business.
The Kapuso hunk is venturing into the lease and rental of serviced offices, which offer viable solutions for local start-up companies or foreign companies looking for temporary or virtual offices in Manila.
“Yung like for example, ikaw po gusto mong mag-opisina for a day, puwede mong rentahan yun, for one day.
“Puwede mo siyang rentahan for a month, for a year, so ganun po.
“Bale one thousand square meters po yung laki po nun.
“Ang laki po niya is, sa one thousand square is meron sa ibaba, merong second floor.
“Pero ang kaya po namin ma-handle na puwedeng kumuha ng space dun is more than, siguro mga eighty plus.”
Who are his potential clients?
How many offices can they accommodate within their total space?
“So pagka gusto mo, like bagay yun sa mga young entrepreneurs, e.
“Like siyempre, sa ano lang kami, Katipunan, so yung katapat lang Ateneo [de Manila University] so puwede silang dun mag-opisina.”
While the construction of their office building is still ongoing, Ruru happily reports that they will start operations by mid-November, with a major company already firming up plans to lease an entire floor.
“Mag-o-open po kami ng November 18, and then may nakuha kaming isang malaking company na gusto niyang kunin yung buong floor, so ang matitira na lang po yung mga nasa ibaba na puwede pong gamitin for co-working space,” he elaborates.
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with Ruru during the mediacon of his movie Cara X Jagger last October 23 at La Chandelle Events Place in Quezon City.

We asked Ruru for an update on his food park business that he started more than a year ago. Is it still operational?
